After BYU-Idaho discontinued AFY in 2017, we saw a void in Gospel-centric programs for teens. We wanted to continue working with teens in the outdoors while building their faith. We had witnessed firsthand the impact of a program built on the principles of experiential education, the power of the outdoors and adventure. These principles are so effective but rarely used to teach the Gospel, thus OFY was born.
